Samhällets säkerhet utmanas av en rad hot, risker och
sårbarheter. Det kan handla om bränder, extrema väder
och naturkatastrofer men även om aktörsstyrda hot så som
organiserad brottslighet, cyberangrepp, terrorism eller
informationsoperationer.
Den globala marknaden för säkerhetsprodukter är under starkt
tillväxt samtidigt som den svenska branschen består till stor del
av små och medelstora företag som representerar olika segment
på marknaden och ny teknik.
Det finns en mycket stor potential för de svenska företagen som
har många innovativa och digitala produkter, inte minst på nya
marknader som Asien.
Varför Interpol World
Internet World är en ledande utställning och kongress som
samlar 10 000 deltagare från hela världen (en majoritet från
Asien).
De besökande är främst upphandlare inom polis, insatsstyrkor
och samhällsskydd. Stort fokus är på säkerhetsteknik,
cybersäkerhet, biometrik och forensic.

Om Säkerhets- och försvarsföretagen
Säkerhets- och försvarsföretagen (SOFF) är en branschorganisation för
företag inom säkerhets- och försvarsområdet med verksamhet
i Sverige. Företagen utvecklar teknik som skyddar samhället
och dess kunder är offentliga aktörer med ansvar för försvar och
samhällsskydd.
Vi har 85 medlemsföretag varav 65 är så kallade SMF (små- och
medelstora företag). Företagen har sammanlagt över 30 000
anställda och omsätter 30 miljarder kronor där omkring 67%
går på export.
SOFF:s främsta uppgift är att utveckla de grundläggande
förutsättningarna för medlemsföretagen på en global marknad
genom ett arbete i Sverige.
SOFF ställer höga krav på medlemsföretagens etiska agerande.
En förutsättning för medlemskap i SOFF är att företagen
respekterar vårt affärsetiska regelverk - detta gäller även ickemedlemmar som deltar på utställningar vi arrangerar.
SOFF:s syfte är:
