Proposition om inkludering av Sustainable Technologies i Sektionen
för Energi och miljö.
Bakgrund:
Under förra året påbörjades diskussioner med masterstudenterna på Sustainable
Technology om ett eventuellt sammarbete mellan deras CRN och vårt NLG. Däri började
diskussionerna om inkludering av de master studenter som läser Sustainable Technology i
Sektionen för Energi och miljö. Under sommaren har sedan en begäran om att få gå med
sänts med följande motivation (hela dokumentet som skickades till oss går att läsa på sidan
2):
“It is the goal of the Sustainable Technology Corporate Relations Network to establish
relationships with Swedish industry in order to promote knowledge­sharing and
opportunities for thesis projects, internships, and future full­time employment in
sustainability­related fields. Given the similarity of curriculum between the Energy and
Environment program, the progress of students from the Energy and Environment program
into the Sustainable Technology Masters program, and the complementary nature of our
programs, featuring the same goals but serving a student base with different short­term
needs, we believe the Energy and Environment section to be the best fit for our
organization, and joining to be beneficial for both organizations.”
Styrelsen anser att inkluderande av Sustainable Technology i sektionen kan vara fördelaktigt
för studenterna på Energi och miljö, på grund av den erfarenhet och diversitet de kan
erbjuda.

Stadgar Sektionen för Energi och Miljö - 1.3 Sammansättning
This motion is submitted by the Sustainable Technology Corporate Relations Network for the
purpose of inclusion in the THS Sektionen för Energi och Miljö. Masters students in the
program of Sustainable Technology, in the department of Industrial Ecology, are not currently
members of a THS section.
