or pipethread compound.Theoppositeend of the fitting shouldfit in-cominghot
water supplyline.Positionthe endof the elbowtowardsthe rear of the dishwasher.
IMPORTANT:DONOTconnecta sweat type fitting directlyto the water valve
as the requiredheat will damage the water inlet valve.Donot solderwithin 6"
(15.2cm) from the water valve.
CAUTION:With the door open, dishwasher may tip forward if
it is not secure in position to cabinet,

Dishwasherdrain must have a 32" (81.2)loop,Drainhosemay be clippedto eithersideof the dishwasher(seediagramA).It is prefer
that the drainhose be routedhigh enoughto providethe 32"loop.If a loopcannot be put in the installation, an air gap (not indud
may be used.
IMPORTANT:
Routingofthe drainhoseis mostimportantto insuresatisfactoryoperation.It is not recommend
to extend drain linebeyond7' (2.1m). However,shouldthis benecessary,it must always be attached to a li
of largerinsidediameter.Anaccessorydrainhoseextensionkit (#904204) is availablethroughyourauthoriz
dealer.DONOTroutedrainhose across the topof the tub,all bendsmust be gradualto preventkinkingor
collapsingof the hose.

DRAIN
A 5/8" (1.6cm) I.D.(InsideDiameter)x 7 ft. (2.1in)corrugateddrainhose is positioned
on side of dishwashertub.
Drainhoseconnectioncan be locatedon eithersideof compartment.Elevatedrain hose
to a heightof at least 32" (81cm) abovethe floor. If drainconnectionis to be made
belowthe floor,hose shouldbe left in the loopedposition.It may be necessary to extend
drainhose for connection.DONOTreducethe drainhose to less than 1/2" (1.3cm) I.D.
(InsideDiameter).

Make pilotholesin the undersideof counterand drivewoodscrews,providedin the
accessory package,through holes in the dishwasher mountingbracket.If part of
the bracket extends beyond the cabinet front, they may be trimmedwith wire
cutters, providedsufficient material is left to support dishwasher mounting.
Note: Dishwasher must be secured properly to
countertopto avoidtippingwhen the dooris openand
to preventthe tubfrom twisting.
It may be necessary to providean additional
anchoringsourcefor mountingscrews. Wood
strips across the topof dishwasheropeningcan be
usedfor solidsurface or granitetype countersto securethe dishwasher.
