Jag heter Jens och är en optimistisk person som tycker om att arbeta med problemlösning. Jag är 40 år och gift sedan 1996 med Catarina som är lärare i Sigtuna. Vi har tre barn som är 3, 8 och 10 år gamla och vi bor på landet längs länsväg 255 ca. 10 km norr om Sigtuna/Märsta.
Jag har arbetat med IS/IT sedan 1989, både som konsult och IT Manager med personalansvar. 1996 startade jag eget företag och har arbetat i denna form sedan dess.
De senaste åren har jag arbetat med att migrera både applikationer, i Microsoft och UNIX miljö, och hela system åt Ericsson på uppdrag av IBM. Jag har också arbetat med drift och underhåll av UNIX­system och databaser åt Svenska Handelsbanken AB. Mitt senaste updrag på banken innefattade bland annat att integrera 25 stycken fristående Solaris 8, 9 och 10 system med SAMBA till Microsoft Active Directory (Kerberos, LDAP etc.).
Jag är mycket förtjust i UNIX/Linux och datorer överhuvudtaget och tillbringar en hel del tid med gammal hårdvara hemma. Böcker är ett annat stort intresse samt film, naturvetenskap med mera.

2004 - 2006
Migration of Solaris 8, 9, 10 SAMBA servers, including
compilation of the source code to enable Kerberos
authentication, to Microsoft Active Directory at Svenska
Handelsbanken AB
UNIX operation and maintenance at Svenska Handelsbanken AB
of +100 (HP/AIX/Fujitsu-Siemens/Sun) UNIX servers running
custom and third party financial applications serving traders
worldwide. Troubleshooting Sybase database problems,
operating system problems, upgrading systems, applying
patches and performing security enhancements.
Performing migration of Oracle-, SQL Server-, Sybase-databases,
Apache-, IIS- webservers, ClearCase version control servers,
CVS-repositories, applications and functionality between several
windows and UNIX servers at IBM Svenska AB.
2003 - 2004
Performing migration from a HP-UX 11i environment to Sun
Solaris 8 of several business critical applications loading several
GB of data daily from mainframes to a Sybase db with scripts in
perl, ksh and code in C, handling 15% of Ericsson revenue for
pricing, ordering and economic tracking for the Chinese market
at Ericsson AB. Subsequent operation, maintenance and
monitoring of the environment using tools such as BigBrother,
Bacula and own scripts.
1996 - 2003
Technical advisor regarding the installation, configuration and
maintenance of a platform consisting of RedHat Linux 6.2, IBM
HTTP Server, IBM Websphere and DB2 at Teligent Enterprise
Systems AB during the development of a “prepaid“ telecom
solution for Optimal Telecom AB.
Capacity planning and performance measurements of
client/server applications in the Ericsson corporate WAN with the
end users located in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and
Guangzhou and the servers in Stockholm, Sweden.
System Manager of a business integration laboratory
environment consisting of several servers running HP-UX, Sun
Solaris, RedHat Linux as well as Windows NT and 2000 on Intel
and alpha processors. Applications in the lab include SAP R/3,
Oracle 8i, SQL Server, MQ Series, Business Objects etc.
