4. Wifi
Turning on Wifi
When the optional Q5 WIFI USB Dongle is inserted, you can surf the Web via Wi-Fi by
using the Web browser.
To turn on Wifi, perform the following:
1. Press the ◄ or ► button to select the Wifi icon in the media suite menu.
2. Press
to enter Wifi Settings.
3. Press the ◄ or ► button to select Enable and then press
to turn on Wifi function.
4. Press the ◄ or ► button to select
to search for APs.

5. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select an AP and then press
to connect.
Note:
1. The Wifi function is only available with Q5's optional dongle.
2. Press Page Up on the remote control to return to the top of the function area. From
here, you can refresh the AP list.
3. Press Page Down to move to the bottom of the AP list when in the function area.
Control Interface
The Wifi Setting contains the following controls:

5.Web browser
Visiting a website
1. Plug the optional Q5 Wi-Fi Dongle into Qumi’s USB socket.
2. Press ▲ ▼ ◄ ► on the remote control to control the cursor. See Remote Control
on page 4.
3. Use the remote control for navigation control. Press the Q icon (bottom-right) to
access the address bar.

in the address bar.
Note:
Plug a USB hub into Qumi’s USB socket, then plug the optional Q5 Wi-Fi dongle,
keyboard and mouse into the USB hub to surf the Internet easily.
Control Interface
The Main bar contains the following control:

6. Wifi Display
Control Interface
The Wifi Display contains the following controls:
ACTION
DESCRIPTION
Start playing media from Wi-Fi.
Projector SSID
Enter the Service Set Identifier here.
IP setting
Select Use default IP to automatically configure the IP settings, or
Use Other IP to manually configure IP settings.
IP address
Configure the IP address of the projector here.
Netmask
Configure the subnet mask here.
Gateway
Configure the IP address of the default gateway here.
DNS
Configure the IP address of the DNS server here.
Note:
Wifi & Web browser functions are only available with Q5's optional dongle.

6.1. Install and start the application on your NB or PC(Windows
& MAC)
Please install the application from attached CD.
After installed the application, you will see the MirropOP-Liteicon on your
desktop：
1) Double click it to execute MirrorOP-Lite client。
2) Program start to list all available Access Point List.(Auto WiFi connect
enabled)
3) Program start to search QUMI with WiFi dongle.
4) After QUMI with WiFi dongle is found, click it to start projection.

6.1.3 Menu Description

6.1.4 Projection Quality
Adjust projection image quality in <Projection Quality>. Higher quality
requires higher bandwidth. Default is Normal.
6.1.5 Auto Power Management
<Auto Power Management>To make the highest projection performance,
application will turn the PC’s windows power scheme from current settings to
“highest performance”, however, you can click the “Auto Power Manage” to
enable or disable this function and restore you power scheme immediately.

6.1.6 Auto WiFi Connect
Click <Auto WiFi Connect> to enable the AWZC function, this function
can save the WiFi connection steps.
6.1.7 Advanced Screen Capture
Click the <Advanced Screen Capture>, you will be able to see tip windows
and other layered windows (include the main UI) on the connected display.
However, the mouse cursor may blink from time to time when you are
projecting your PC screen!
*Enable / Disable “Advanced Screen Capture”.

6.1.8 About
Click <About> to show system information. It includes product model name,
Client version, IP address and other information
6.1.9 Exit
Click <Exit> to exit this application. It will stop current playing status and
close the application immediate.

6.2. Install and start the APP on your iOS(iphone/ipad/ipod) device:
6.2.1 Download the APP from App Store

Connect your phone to Internet network.
Launch the App Store
Download the MobiShow application.(Figure.1)
Follow the instructions to finish the installation.
6.2.2 Upload Files with iTunes

B. Connect your iPhone/iPod/iPad to PC/Laptop.
C. Click the iPhone/iPod/iPad device.(step.1)
D. Click the Apps list.(step.2).
E. Click MobiShow and you can see everything you uploaded
associated with MobiShow Lite.(step.3)
F. Click add button, and choose file to upload to your
iPhone/iPod/iPad.(step.4)

6.2.3 Using Mobishow with iOS device
A. Enable the WiFi and connect to the Access Point where the
Mobishow compatible device connected.
B. Select “MobiShow”
icon to launch the client software.
C. MobiShow client will start to search for MobiShow compatible
devices automatically.(Figure.2)
D. Choose a MobiShow device, it will popup the login page.
Enter the login code and press login. (Figure.3)

6.2.4 Photo
You can use MobiShow to project photos stored on your phone to big
screen with your QUMI. The photos will be prepared for playback on
big screens rather than for the tiny screens of your phone.
Open and select the photo file, then project it on the big screen
through your QUMI.

6.2.5 PtG
You can use MobiShow to do the PC-Less Interactive presentation by
PtG Feature. When the PtG file is open, the PtG slides will be
projected, and the following screen is displayed on your phone for you
to control your PtG presentation.

You need to use “PtG converter.exe” to convert the files to the
PtG file in avdance.

6.2.6 Using PtG converter
A. Open “PtG Converter” in “PtG Converter” folder from
“Programs” in the Start menu. The following control panel is
displayed on your Desktop when it is launched.

B. Click the “
Convert” button to select a PowerPoint PPT
file and start conversion. PtG Converter will open the PowerPoint
file and convert it to PtG format. You can see the conversion
process on your Desktop.
C. Click the “
Preview” button to expand or collapse the
preview pane. Click “

Play” to playback selected PtG file, or
Open” to select a PtG file.
6.3. Install and start the APP on your Android device:
6.3.1 Download the APP from Google Play
(Play Store APP)
A. Turn on WiFi on your phone.
B. Connect your phone to Internet network.
C. Open the Store and download the MobiShow application.(Figure.1)
D. Follow the instructions to finish the installation.

6.3.2 Using MobiShow with Android phone
A. Enable the WiFi and connect to the Access Point where the
MobiShow compatible device connected.
B. Select “MobiShow” icon
to launch the client software.
C. MobiShow client will start to search for MobiShow compatible
devices automatically. (Figure.2)
D. Choose a MobiShow compatible device, it will popup the
login page.(Figure.3)
E. Enter the login code and press Connect.
(Press Connect directly if the connected device disabled the
login code protection.)

6.3.3 Photo
You can use MobiShow to project photos stored on your phone to

6.3.4 PtG
